My 4 year old thinks she can speak pig latin. Its total non-sensical words, but its funny. Her explaination behind them are even funnier.

Ummmm - let's see ...

There's "arishkay" and "kanishvay" - these are things that people do. I asked her what things they were and she said "Mommy, you know, those THINGS that people do."

Alrighty then.

And there is the "parkishday", I asked her what that meant and she said "Duh! Big Red Truck! That means that its the day you go to the park! Silly mommy."

LOL

Perfectly understandable -- how could you *not* know what those words meant, Mommy?? :)

Those are the sorts of things that I WILL miss, not having children.

Thanks!

You know (not really but I'm gonna tell you anyway) - my aunt swore she was never going to have any children. My uncle (her husband) supported this decision and was on the bandwagon all the way.

She went through her 20s, through her 30s - lost her mother to a brain annurisim (sp?) - and at 37 changed her mind. She had her first one at 39 and her second at 43. She has two very adorable children.

Her oldest is a girl and oh how that girl was dolled up and dressed up. My aunt took full advantage of experiencing having a girl. Her son isn't any less dolled either.

Children, I have found, are not something you plan. They just happen. I never planned either of mine (if I had there would have only been ONE dad instead of two). And I could not see my life without them. They rock. Yes, they get on my nerves, but they still rock.
