The Lion King

I don't even know where to begin to start to describe this masterpiece, this artwork, this visualization that blows your mind.

From the very opening song I had tears in my eyes. They flowed as the "animal parade" came down the two aisles.

The plain stage that could be lowered or raised was outstanding.

Pride Rock, cannot be described. Yes, it was on wheels and could be rolled in or out as necessary depending on the scene.

Scar, OMG, this actor, this voice, this talent - Jeremy Irons eat your heart out!

The costumes, the vocal talent, the acting, the sets. The sets were so simple yet so profound.

You truly believed that Mufasa loved his son. That Simba was scared and believed he had killed his father.

The costumes, so effective, so efficient in their simplicity yet complexity.

At any moment someone could be off the ground for whatever purpose - falling mostly - if you recall the movie - Mufasa falls from the sides of the gorge when Scar "pushes" him.

Right now, the feelings it still envokes in me, seeing that - I want to see it again!

Just say "Mufasa" and I shiver. Say it again!! MUFASA! *shivers*

NA SA WENYA BABA DEESEMABO!!
