Whose Child Is This???

How does the boy do it???

He says he has a girlfriend - in fact she gave him a Hot Wheels for Christmas without us getting her anything - not that I would know what to get a 5 year old girl. Her name is Casey Grey.

Today he comes out with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles kids meal toy. Kenna gave it to him.

He says Kenna likes him.

Just a bit ago the phone rings and a small voice asks for CJ. I asked who was calling and she said shyly "Kenna". So I told her that he was with his mamaw and would not be home until tomorrow.

She said she wanted him to come on Sunday to something that's going on at Smith Park. I heard her mom in the background say it was too cold for that and if she wanted friends to come over they would talk about it.

This is the boy who in preschool had girls fighting over him until Hannah walked in. Petite, quiet, shy Miss Hanna. From then on if you wanted to find one you just looked for the other. Sighs.

How does he do it??

I doubt any of the other boys in class have two girls "liking" them. Or calling them.

I'm too young for this!!!!

He's only going to be SIX next week!!!

Whose Child Is This??????

Edit: I just called him at mamaw's house to tell him about Kenna. He said "I KNOW cause I gave her my phone number."

Of course I know nothing, I'm now a parent, I won't be as smart as my child (in their opinions) for a very long time. ROTFL

Yeah. It wasn't until I was 25 or so until I realized Mom was right about most things. And it wasn't until I was 30 until I could tell her that. :)

I know what you mean. By the time I was about 26 I think I could tell my mom that she had been right and I had been wrong and I was sorry.

However, the best part is that my snotty brother, aka J-Bro, once he got into a relationship that already had kids and married that person and had one of his own did he call my mom and really grovel.

She felt so justified. In her opinion, with him, justice had finally been served. I could hear the evil laughter in her voice as she relayed the message to me about what he said.

Mom used to say you get back 10 fold with your children what you did to your own parents. If that's the case, if they follow me, then I'm not in for a bad ride. But since I know how the dads were with their parents, boy am I in trouble!

Going off of the credibility I've seen his mother display so far, I would not take what she says as gospel truth.

I think that with the examples he had to go off of as role models in his life, he did ok and as far as I'm concerned, any mother that would wish badly on her son doesn't deserve to be a mother at all. And no, I'm not referring to the typical "Just wait till you have kids" saying. It's much more than that. So all I'm saying is, he wasn't a perfect kid, nobody was, but he wasn't near as bad as his mother makes him out to be either per his grandfather who's house he was in most of his teenage years anyway. Needless to say, the woman burns me up.

Re: Well,

Law of Average
Since I knew you back in the day. We were pretty good kids. Made the grades, stayed out of "real" trouble and really didn't give our parents alot of grief.
Add that to what Pet was like as a teenager and divide by two.

So far Princess has not utilized her troublemaking abilities.

I'll be watching. A little rebellion is ok.
