Heavily Restricted

Well, now that I was out of the office for 3 days, all hell broke loose - as per normal around here - and the fight was on.

I am now heavily restricted at the office. I will no longer truly be able to get on, talk to people through email, or check and post to LJ. Sigh.

Is that what a real job is like? LOL

Seriously, I'm in job burnout hell and I'm ready to walk away from this one. I'm making moves in areas to try to make that happen. But if I had to quit today, I'm comfortable that I will be alright.

THEN I REALLY won't be able to get online and talk through email, LJ, etc.

But hey, if I can make more $$$, get some benes that I need - as all of my home girls know I need - then it will be worth it. And perhaps I will find energy again!

Just though of something...
This person doesn't have any kind of documentation stating what thier rules are do they? Any employee handbook? Any sick day policies? Any stated amount of vacation days you get? Did you sign anything?

If there were no rules to begin with, how then can one change what didn't exist in the first place? And if they do, shouldn't it be in writing?

Then again considering what you'd be up against in this kind of battle, don't know if you'd have a chance at winning.

Re: Just though of something...
Until January of this year, there was nothing. I signed nothing. No, there were no rules. None but his and only he knows what they are and they are subject to change at his whim or mood swing.

What's that old joke again about "I make the rules", yadda, yadda, yadda?

I've been after him since I don't know WHEN to get something down in writing, office policies. But NOOOO, he's too busy to do that.

Now he's going to be busier - muwahahahahahahaha - I'll email you when I get a chance.

This is one of the problems of being in a small company.
There usually isn't a handbook, policies and the typicial corporate hiring thing.

When dealing with a p*ASS*ive agressive personality.
He was quiet content to have EOB do stuff because she could, instead of HIM doing it WHICH HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING ALL ALONG!!

*EOB's boss just makes me completely crazy!*
